Aeda of Franks

Aeda, also known as Adelaid or Athalia was born circa 784-806, was a devout woman who supposedly once had a vision of John the Baptist telling her that due to her piety her line would amongst the greatest in the Earth. She was known for being kind as well as pious. She was one of the daughters of Pepin I and Bertha de Toulouse. Aeda married Billung, Baron of Saxony.
